Speaker(s): Dr. Jessica Namakkal
The 2024 U.S. presidential election has opened up national discussions about the presence of people of South Asian origin in the United States. This talk will present a brief history of South Asian migration to the United States, highlighting the diversity of a diaspora that is often presented as monocultural.
