Class of 2027
Major in International Comparative Studies, Minors in Asian American & Diaspora Studies and Economics
Outside of my classes, I enjoy dancing, cooking, writing, and researching. I'm on the Bollywood Hip-Hop dance team Ishq, the Muse Feminist Literary Magazine, and the Duke History Union. I also work as a research assistant for the ICS department, a student worker for the AADS department, an assistant speech and debate coach for my high school, and am a Mellon Mays Fellow researching South Asian racialization. I love hanging out with my friends and trying new things (mostly food) and would love to connect other students with the AADS program because it has made me some of my closest friends and connections.
Favorite Class: Asian American Literature with Dr. T has been one of my favorite classes. I love to read, and the class felt like a cozy book club. I enjoyed every single book we read and liked the way it used literature as a medium to understand the different versions of the Asian American experience.
